Starting her modeling career in 1976 by landing her first gig shooting. Photographer by the name of Beard discovered Iman while studying at the university of Nairobi in Kenya.
She’s a style muse for many of our high end favorite fashion designers as well as legendary photographers. After 14 years in the modeling industry, Iman found it very difficult to find makeup to match her complexion. In 1994, she started her own cosmetic line “Iman” named her two daughters brand ambassadors, which grossed over 24 million. Boss Moves! Showing proof that she is more then just a pretty face. A business woman, an activist, a mom, actress (Michael Jackson’s iconic music video “Do You Remember The Time”) and the wife to the late great David Bowie.
