I have three words for you “The Crabby Shack“. I stopped by Crown Heights best kept secret before the storm and wanted to buy everything on the menu and not only is the food GREAT they have Happy Hour! Located in the heart of Brooklyn, 613 Franklin Avenue, the inexpensive yet tasty menu will have you wanting more.

Owned by two Brooklyn moms who are long time friends Fifi Bell Clanton and Gwendolyn Niles, who decided to open The Crabby Shack after successful careers in music and fashion. The nautical decor theme and atmosphere gives a true Brooklyn vibe.

The team there are super friendly greeted upon arrival. On your visit be sure to order the Crab Mac and Cheese with the Famous Crab Roll!

” A Different World” sitcom hands down had the most stylish cast in the late 80’s early 90’s. Watching this week to week not only had you ready for college but begging your parents for oversize multicolor pullovers and distressed denim!

A spin off of “The Cobsy”show and at first was based off of Denise Huxtable who enrolled in Hillman College, but we were shortly introduced to the stylish, funny, handsome character Dwayne Wayne. With a serious kick game, bold print buttons ups and vest with the unforgettable flip-up glasses! Week to week he didn’t let us down when it came to dressing. From wearing his long tan wool coat with the Jordan cement 3’s and adding the finishing touch with an african medallion piece. He is justabrooklyngyrl’s Style Icon!
