The Urban Gentlemen: Top Five Best Dressed Men

Sorry ladies this post is dedicated to the men this week who are effortlessly catching our eye with their threads. From the red carpet to the paparazzi snaps, justabrooklyngyrl is here to give you her top five best dressed gentlemen along with six styled inspired items and where to buy them!

I asked a couple of fellas who were their style inspiration someone they looked to when getting dressed or shopping. From all different walks of lives and professions each person I ask seemed to have these top five gentlemen floating on their list. So in no particular order here it goes:

1. Pharrell Williams

Not only is he a great artist and music producer but he is also the founder of BAPE (A Bathing Ape), Billionaire Boys Club and Ice Cream. He recently collaborated with Adidas Originals creating Adidas SuperColors limited edition sneakers. Pharell had everyone searching for an oversized fedora rather you want to admit it or not! From his one of kind custom suits to the famous tailored BBC varsity jackets Pharell’s ability to switch it from corporate chic to street in seconds will forever make him an urban gentlemen.

2. Kanye West

This comes as no surprise, unless you’re living under a rock. From the Yeezus tee to the sold out in seconds yeezy sneakers (that later goes for $4,000 and better in flight club) Kanye is definitely on the list in no specific order for best dressed gentlemen. Some disagreed with me by saying” but he wear skirts” but he had a lot of fellas looking for kilts. From rocking jordan 1’s and dungarees to denim on denim with military boots he takes chances and thinks outside the box.

3. Victor Cruz

I feel like his style is underrated and one to be watched. Some call his style too safe but thats perfect for the perfect gentlemen. Not every guy can pull of a kilt and leather pants. Its more to Mr. Cruz than being a sneaker collector, he is an upcoming clothing designer and when there’s a red carpet he def turn heads with his attire. From timbs and a fitted to a gray pinstripe suit, he had to make the list! Simplicity at its best.

4. Shawn Carter aka Jay-Z

Rapper, Mogul, clothing label owner just a few hats this guy from Brooklyn wears while doing it effortlessly. We watched him changed clothes and go literally. From jerseys to button ups and you must admit he had the whole world wearing purple label and females putting away their burberry patterns. Rocking Tom Ford with his award winning wife on his arm he takes the style card each and every time.

5.David Beckham

He is the best kept style secret, and after reading this you probably will watch him even more. The world knows him for his world class soccer skills, but he is also a model designer and definitely a style icon. Easy on the eyes on and off the field he slays from fitted blazers to fitted biker jackets. Justabrooklyngyrl couldn’t leave him out!
